Valeria Rosato's book, L'Altro come oggetto d'odio (The Other as an Object of Hatred), takes a detailed look at the sociological theory of conflict. The approach is multidimensional, intertwining micro, macro and, above all, meso levels: ethnicity, dynamics between in-groups and out-groups, and belonging, allowing for a more in-depth examination of the categories and cases investigated.
