Opportunities and obstacles in artificial intelligence education: a socio-educational perspective
Abstract
Artificial intelligence (AI) has become a central factor in many fields, from industry to healthcare, offering opportunities for innovation and growth but also raising new ethical, social, and political challenges. Education plays a decisive role in fostering conscious use, capable of enhancing benefits and limiting risks. The article highlights the need for an interdisciplinary approach that combines technical and humanistic skills, addressing issues such as algorithmic democracy, the impact of automation on work, the digital divide, and disinformation, and proposes inclusive educational and regulatory directions for the AI era.
